I have a HT750 that on power on beeps twice (beep beep....not a beep boop) which is new to me.
Also, after is receives a transmission it begins making a clicking noise that will not stop and covers any farther audio.

Also, when you turn the radio off, it makes only what I can describe as a "farting" noise.

Anybody have a clue?

Try to program it with a good known codeplug.
If you have still have the same sound make a firmwareupdate.

Is it possible for you to provide us with an audio sample of this turn-off noise so we may better help diagnose your problem?
