W3 Shuts off on TX

I am having a problem with a high power W3 with siren installed. When the PTT is pressed the radio does not TX and goes through the Self Test.
I have changed the control head, swaped radio decks, and changed the ignition sense lead all with no success. The siren works fine and the PTT works for PA mode.
I checked the radio positive lead fuse and ground and all connections seem ok. By all indications this looks like a power problem... any ideas.
Thanks for the help.

swap the siren lead with the radio lead.
If the problem reverses check the power conection.
Also check the power connectors at the radio, sometimes the female opens up.
Stick a meter at the i/p to the radio and key up.
If the voltage drops, keep looking for a bad crimp or similar.

Swap the siren power with the radio power?
Measure power across the power lead at the radio with a meter?
I'll check the power connectors on the radio. Thanks for the advice.

Swap the siren power with the radio power?
Are they not the same power connector
Measure power across the power lead at the radio with a meter?
I should have said volts with a multimeter

The siren power is a 14 or 16 gauge lead. The radio power is an 8 gauge pos. and neg. lead with a large connector. I am going to try a new power lead directly from the battery to see if that fixes the problem, if it does I know to focus on the ground and crimp connections.

Sounds like lack of power.
