I have a Spectra D45KGA5JB7AK and Ill be installing the remote kit with the 2 db25 connectors. My question is can I hook the siren in and program the b7 head to control the siren functions?
Thanks!

You can program a couple of functions. To take full advantage of the siren, you'll have to use a DEK

so I put everything together programmed it up (had to edit the moflag to allow me to activate the siren options) I programmed the top two buttons as Airhorn and PA but nothing. It has to be reckognising the siren cause when its unplugged it throws the err code on boot. Any Ideas??

If it's giving you an error code on boot up, then either the radio is programmed for siren and is not "seeing" the siren hooked up or It is seeing the siren, but you don't have all of the options turned on in RSS. Which fail code is it?

I think what he's saying is that when the amp is plugged in, no error codes, and when he unplugs it, error code (expected behaviour) thus it would seem that the amp and radio are communicating at least on radio POST.
First off, which positions are the Airhorn and PA buttons at? They should only be able to be able to be assigned to one of the 4 indicator buttons above the display (the 5th is always slaved to SEL).
When you arm the PA button, does the indicator under the button light up, and are you getting PA audio out of the siren speaker?
Also, I believe that you have to have the siren armed before the airhorn will work. What are the settings under F4 > F2 > F9 > F6 ?
