CT250 error

When reading a Motorola CT250 portable, I get the following error:

"Image has a block with absBlkID 42, but the layout does not have this block"

The RSS showed it was reading the radio, the bottom of the screen started to show about displaying the codeplug block and this error came up and then when you click ok, it goes back to the idle screen---does not display anything.

Can anyone help? Thanks

what are the first two letters of the model number, are you shure it's not a pro3150 with ct250 stickers on it?

Is there somewhere else I can check for anything?

You need a newer CPS version, I believe.

a newer version would be my next guess. i know i've seen this error before but i don't remember what it was for, i thought it was unsupported model number?

ok that is the american version so it looks like it is the other suggestion, you need the newest version of the cps or you need a older saved codeplug with the exact model number that you can clone into this radio.

Hello All,

What is the most current CPS to program the CT-250 and CT-450?

Thanks Ozzie
