Batboard

I am looking to install some antennas to my accord. I am going to need a scanner antenna and a uhf antenna. So far, I have decided on the Comtelco All-Band Low-Profile Scanner Antenna, but I am curious as to where to mount it. Scanner master gives four suggesstions, a mag mount, trunk lip mount, hole mount, and mirror mount. Which one would be better is yall's opinion? and how much would the reception suffer if the scanner antenna was on the trunk instead of the roof? Thanks! -tnf

a scanner is recieve only so a ground plane don't matter so you can put it pretty much anywhere. your terrain will determine how much difference there is between roof and trunk but higher is better.
