dek switch box

looking for the schematic of a dek box wiring to use for offroad lights ect. not the 25DB but the guts of the wild card itself.

What radios do you own?: Motorola, Icom, Sunair (HF).

Just a nitpick: DEK (Direct Entry Keypad) boxes are microprocessor-based, and interact only with the Motorola radios they're designed for (Spectra, X9000, etc.)

What you most likely need is the Systems 9000 'Wild Card.' You should know that the switches in such can only handle an amp or so per contact. For external lighting, the right way to do it is drive a bigger relay with the switch contacts. Don't forget your 'catch' diode across the relay coil so you don't get a big arc eating away at your switch contacts.
