I have all the MURS frequencies program Into my XTS5000R and set to tx and rx in Apco-25 and I was wondering If anyone can advise me were In the RSS menu's can I find the menu for selecting digital csq for the Apco 25 channels?. I used the radio out early by monitoring on my Pro-96 and the digital transmissions sound great. Thanks.

Erm... he asked about Digital CSQ, which is a valid option, not DPL.

On the XTS 3000 and ASTRO Saber, it's the Rx Unmute Rule option, under the ASTRO tab for your conventional personality. Never programmed an ASTRO 25 radio, so I'm not sure if it's the same, but this might give you a useful hint.

Locating "Digital CSQ"

Steps to locating "Digital CSQ"
1) Go to the Personality you want to add Digital CSQ to and open it.
2) Click the "Rx Options" tab and select ASTRO beside "Rx Voice/Signal Type:".
3) Click on the "ASTRO" tab
4) Pull down the "Rx Unmute Rule" Drop-down
5) This is where "Digital CSQ" is located.

There you go!

On an Astro25 radio, all frequency and encode/decode options are part of the Zone Channel Assignment matrix. It's a row/column job very much like excel or a database output. You have to scroll down to the row (channel) you want to edit, and then scroll over to the column that represents the setting you want to change.

For Astro/digital channels, the Network ID settings (direct, TX, RX) are the last columns on the right.

For the record, the OP probably meant CPS, not RSS, as there has never been RSS for the Astro25 products (at least not that's seen the general light of day).
