HT1000 dos muting

anyone know why in HT1000 when dos muting is selected and top abc switch is used for scan on, off off and scan program off off on that when scan is on the DOS muting doesnt work???
If switch is set to position B however dos muting works properly....
PROBLEM SOLVED - This can be deleted - stupid mistake
