Anyone here dealt with a Raytheon P25CC, and have you ever hooked it up to an MSR2000? Looking to find out how much they're worth, and any first hand opinions on the thing.

It's basically a device containing a P25 implementation that operates over the baseband audio lines of an ordinary analog station, to turn an old repeater into a P25 machine on the cheap.

If you speak with JPS, you will find that the P25CC is, at least at the moment, a cut-to-fit, paint-to-match proposition: you have to ship your station to JPS and they modify it to work with the P25CC. This is not plug and play.

Their press release states US$20k for the first channel dropping to US$16k. It's not cheap if you want just a P25 repeater; it is cheap if you want a network.
Tait or Daniels probably are the best bet for a reasonably priced P25 repeater (US$7k) if that’s all you need (and don’t want to make one yourself).
The JPS technology actually comes from Etherstack in the UK:

Etherstack is also working with Aeroflex, Icom and others. They have a great stand alone P25 protocol monitor.

I met with them at IWCE in Las Vegas last month and can pass on contact details if you're serious.
In Australia you can get the same thing from Auria Wireless:

I met up with them at the APCO 2007 show in Surfers, again can pass on contact details.

I've dealt with Auria Wireless professionally, so I've got a contact there. I already knew nothing from Raytheon is particularly cheap, so I was sure this wasn't going to be an exception
This is really just a tyre-kicking personal project at the moment.
Thanks
