I'm new to posting but not to radios.

I need some help: I had a perfectly working HT 1000 before programming and now has a PL decode problem: When receiving, the audio is chopping but once in monitor, works fine. I've ruled out the service monitor as it happens on the over the air on customer's channel as well.

The only thing I did was add another channel and changed the side button assignments.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

I think the radio's alignment values in the code plug got scrambled.

Thanks for the input: I had some time to work with the radio and found the code plug was corrupted, so you're right.

The only way I could over write the values was to clone a different code plug into the radio, then re-enter the customer values manually.
