I purchased a MSF-5000 test set and it was missing the modular cable that plugs into the RX and TX test ports. Any one have a pin out of the cable?
Thanks

I know its crude Andy but here it is,
With both sets of contacts facing you tabs on the rear
1 matches to 8
2 to 7
3 to 6
4 to 5

My two bits worth:
RJ45 is the spec for the plug. There are many specs for the connections depending on the use.
The test set uses a "Mirrored" cable. The pins are reversed end to end.
This is a telephone cable.
Computer cables are another matter.
Ethernet has another scheme, as well as Cat5 has a couple of other schemes.
I mention this because many people assume that any cable with a RJ45 on each end will work in any application.
Be very careful with the ribbon cable!
There are two versions that were shipped with the test set. The difference is the key tabs. In any case if the connector is plugged in the wrong way the test set will fail. The DMP will have several ICs fried.
