So, this means that we can expect the market to be flooded with XTL 5000s at ever diminishing prices?
Right ? But, maybe not this week.

Oh well, wishful thinking.

At these prices, my guess is that Will is going to have plenty of Astro Spectra owners seeking capacitor replacement.

Is there a replacement for the W7 head the one with the full keypad.
We have a dispatch that uses both a MCS2000 model 3 and a Spectra W7 for call alert to a fleet of units.

I don't see anything in the new head series for the XTL mobiles.

Only the O3. The rest require the use of a keypad mic.

There are several... your best bet is to call parts ID with the radio and serial number of your XTL. This will get you the proper TIB, cables and all that jazz if your using a W series head.

You also need to have firmware 9? in the radio to support the new heads.
