Hey all.
I recently got a new saber radio, but it reads the ERR 0 81, so I was thinking I could ask you guys and see if anyone has a good codeplug for a saber 2 VHF radio lying around and would consider sharing it with me. Preferably, i would need one that covers 136-174, securenet, hi power 3 button display.
Thanks in advance, any help is greatly apprechiated.

If you have RSS, you should be able to make one. Go to Create/Save radio personality file, hit create, and just follow the steps.

then its most likely a hardware issue. The computer is too fast or the rib box/ cable is not right..

I suspect that as well, however, its no problem reading radios with version r7.00.00
I guess I will have to rig up the good ol' 33mhz again and see if there is any difference in outcome.

I can read all day with a faster computer with 7.01 But when its time to write It gives me the same Error code. I use an old slow toshiba 386 for anything older.

Thanks alot mate. Ive got the old 33mhz at the desk, just ran into some trouble when I noticed the VGA cable from my new monitor wont fit the 33mhz. Will have to go get a new monitor or VGA cable.
I hope writing it with the old computerwill solve the problem. Its just a shame the laptop wont work, would have been handy to have for field work.

The saber2 is now alive and kicking. Everything worked flawless with the 33mhz computer. No more checksum errors or nothing. Thanks guys.
