MT-1000 Controller Question

Post by yardbirdjr »

Hello!

I have a MT-1000 Vhf 99 ch radio, that needs a controller.

I have a chance to buy some Uhf 99 ch MT-1000's for a good price.

My question is would a 99 ch Uhf controller work in a 99 ch Vhf MT-1000

Please advise

Thanks

David

What radios do you own?: What's a radio?

It should work. According to the service manual, the NTN4893C controller is used for both UHF and VHF 99 channel display radios and NTN4892C is used for all other VHF and UHF models.
