Expect about 441-442'ish.. I've had a high split 2500 and 5000 down to about 442, and a low split 2500 and 5000 TX'ing up at around 479 with no problems..

I've also had a low split 2500 that would not Tx at 479 as another identical radio next to it would, so It all depends. Play a little trial and errror..

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

cool... thanks, the ASTRO ham repeater I want to use should work then.

Was there any hacking to get them to go down there or did the radio just take it?

thanks.

You have to hex edit the CPS limits in the "patport" file. Do a search here on the board.. You'll find what you need.
