I am looking to get a new SUV. What has been the easiest make and model to do installs in?

Thanks

Something commonly used for emergency vehicles.

Expedition
Explorer
Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon
Durango (though I wouldn't advise it... just ask Seth)

explorers.

There is just so much work being done on them all over the world, and so many people have done installs on them, that it seems every problem has been solved...or at least attempted.

[edit]

wait, you are getting an SUV and want to do install stuff in it?, or work out of it, doing installs for other people?

and...i would be careful deciding your SUV based on ease of install, what are you going to use it for? Admittedly, i don't pay a damn bit of attention on the potential ease of install until after i buy it, there are a lot bigger, and more pressing concerns in my way, such as mileage, driveability, repairs, TSBs, the like...

I loves my 2001 Ford Expedition, but the new ones on dealer lots have a center console floor shifter. I looked at the Tahoes and recommended them for the TV station I work at. One of the few makes of vehicle that still has a column shifter (What's up with that, anyway, car manufacturers?) Plus, you can get a console for them that makes the radios look nice and tidy.

Honestly it is presonal prefrence. I have done installs on Tahoes, Explorers, Expeditions, And Durango's All have their weak and strong points for installs.

Id stay away from Durango's and Trailblazer's

I have a 2004 Dodge ram, the easiest truck I have ever done. Nice big grommet under the console for all the wires, molding all snaps out and snaps back in. Also plenty of room to hide 3 speakers under the dashboard, and driver and passenger seat fit power supply and radio units.

Havis now has a console for Trailblazer. I've been running a 'blazer since '06 with no problems.
