POCSAG in a Flex Pager

OK I have played with mostly 2 tone and 5/6 tone paging and not really entered the digital paging world (numeric & alpha-numeric).

I know and understand that there is about 4 types of digital signalling formats that either have been or are in use today. They are: Golay, POCSAG, Flex, and ReFlex. Now I know Golay has for the most part gone Bye Bye due to technology, and ReFlex is used by 2 Way pagers. Therefore, in essence all that is really left is POCSAG and Flex. Of those two Flex is the main one out there right now.

However, I have recently come into a Zetron Model 15 paging encoder that I have been playing with and see that it does POCSAG format digital paging. I happen to have an old numeric POCSAG Lifestyle Plus on VHF, the paging company shut down as well as did the freq. So I was going to test the pager and see if it works, and if it does I was going to maybe get an aplha-numeric pager. However, in searching EBay in it's glory all I can really find in good shape in VHF is Advisor Golds in Flex or Advisor Elites.

So the question is: If I have a flex pager can I program a POCSAG capcode into for use with the Zetron Model 15. This is mostly a play around type project and nothing I want to throw money at or into.

Thanks to all in advance for the answers.

No. FLEX in a FLEX pager... POCSAG in a POCSAG pager. No intermixing, at least on the Motorola, Unication, and Apollo units I've used.
