Midians VPU-8 Voice Inversion Scramblers
Anyone know if these are compatible with M1225s, HT1000s, Maxtrac 800s, Radius M216, etc?

Usually the generic scramblers are usable in about any mobile radio. You need to get to the mike audio before it goes to any processing and get to the receiver audio before any switching. Usually not difficult to find. Finding PTT is no issue. More complex scramblers can be more demanding but inversion is the simplest there is. And not to be considered secure my any means. A service monitor with a BFO or a scanner and a $20 kit negates them entirely.
Some of their rolling code units would be better, and some of Transcrypt's would be even better.

Just running your scanner into your soundcard with a program like Invert.exe is all you need to decode speech inversion.
No soldering iron required.
