is it possible to connect 2 Maxtracs together in a repeater setup, they are the 5 pin versions 2ch. Any info on this will be much appreciated.

Little more complicated then a 16pin radio I thought there might just be a connector that goes to the pins on the back, but thanks for the info.

Tessco sells a Repeater Maker. simple and fairly cheap

I believe that you can use 2 5-pin radios and utilize the mic jacks.

For most if not all controllers your still going to need the COR/COS indication from the inside of the radio. The rear connector on a 5 pin radio doesn't have the signals you need for this, as shown on Bob's article as well as mine on RBTIP.
