I have some new XTL1500 mobiles that I am setting up. I am trying to enable a user selected non-priority scan list, but I am only getting the option for Fixed in the Non-Priority Members drop down box for the Scan List. I am guessing that I'm missing a check box someplace, but not sure where? Thoughts?

User programmable scan is not an option in the XTL1500. They are cheap for a reason.

I haven't seen the XTL1500 control head in person, however, It may be the fact there are not enough buttons to configure the user programmable scan. That may be the main reasoning behind it... But I agree, you get what you pay for.

The reason it is not an option is it was not included in the code plug option list. I looked at both configs for conventional, the standard and the enhanced. Plenty of fixed program lists available, but user programmable is just not included as an option. The XTL1500 control head has a menu, so it COULD have it if Ma M wanted it there, but, alas, they did not.

XTL1500 = $1500

XTL2500 = $2500

XTL5000 = $5000

Maybe Moto had a plan with the model numbers?
