The Department I work for just received a pager back from the Depot with a note saying not repaired because they no longer support the Minitor III. Can anyone advise if this is correct ? Motorola is no longer supporting the Minitor III.

That's funny Bruce because we received a second Minitor III pager back today unrepaired from the Depot ??

That MOL report on turnaround came out at the end of last month!

My Minitor III came back from the Depot yesterday. It looks just like a new one and works good.

Did you send it to El Paso? If you sent it to the old RSC they will just ship it back.

I checked the paperwork that came back with the units and they were both shipped to El Paso ..

It may have changed since, but when I was "retired" from the depot, Elgin still did the Minitor servicing. That was in March of 06.

Just had "official" word from Motorola. Her's what they said:

"The Minitor III pager is no longer supported and will be returned unrepaired."

Sept. 7, 2007 just got a Minitor III back saying unrepaired no longer supported.

Same experience here. No longer serviced - several months ahead of the last matrix I saw.
Nice time for that AFG grant for more pagers to be declined.
