I'm installing a radio system for inside my EMS station. Need some basics help.

I have 2 radios...

1 is for the main part of the station and is always on to monitor. When that specific station is toned, it alerts with a tone, but stays open all the time.

The second radio is only for the bunk rooms. It is silent until the tone drops for the station, opens up, and resets after a few minutes.

I have 5 speakers. 1 radio only needs one speaker (that's for the bunk room). The other radio needs to run 4 speakers. So I'm assuming I need an amplifier of some type, right?

Also, how can I make it where the lights turn on when the tone is dropped for that station? Is that complicated or simply hooking up something between the radio and the light power?

yepa cheap PA amp from Tessco works good for this type aplication.

Depends on the radio.
If it has a horn and lights function it s easy.
Just add a relay in parrallel to the slight breaker.When the radio recieves a page the lights go on.
The light switch works as normal.
