I try to read GM338 but it show Error58 what is it?

According to the Motorola error code list: error 58
Description = Bad Code Plug data
Probable Cause = Code Plug Is Corupted
Remedy = Replace Logic Bd.
I wouldnt replace the logic bd just yet = You need to obtain an eaxct model number code plug of your radio and force/clone it into your radio.
This should corect any corupt info in the code plug restoring the radio back to life.
And from now on do yourself a favor and read and save a code plug reading of every radio you have plus others as you can.
This will be the shot of penicilian you need to restore any code plug future problems.
If you use another code plug be sure to go back in and reprogram your freqs tones ect as they will become the code plug info you cloned in.
Good Luck = You need the code plug so cough up the model number and beg for mercy and help.

An invalid market code can also cause this problem. Make sure that the software you are using supports the radio and vice versa.
