Hi, anyone that could lend some insight here would be great.
I have a GP68 and somehow during use turned on the CTCSS squelch mode for Transmitting only. Not sure how to turn it off now and it wont let me adjust anything but numbers inside the tPl menu.
Please help, THANKS!

Do a search on this Board for GP-68 and you should find
a site for downloading the manual for this radio.

Thanks, but I have a manual in hand and it makes no mention of this particular problem.
Anyone else lend a thought?

Here's our local copy of the GP68 User's Guide

If you are looking for detailed information about programming the GP68 from the keypad, take a look at the manual for the AP73 (below). The AP73 is basically the same radio as the GP68 with a bandsplit limited to the Amateur Radio band.

Does three zero's turn it off? I think I read that on Page #19 of the A76 .pdf file.. and you only have 5 seconds to do it?
This is 1 radio I never played with, at work we didn't have them. and I never had 1 for personal use.

Page 4d-5 of the GP68 Service Manual does say that
setting the rx and tx codes to 000 changes the radio
to carrier squelch.

You hold down the "B" button (second button from the
left) for three seconds, then having taken the number
you want from the setup table you turn the channel
knob to the setting you want. You toggle between
rx and tx setup by pressing the "B" button. When you
finish the setup the radio will return to normal operation
after three seconds.

I once owned two of these and they WERE a real pain
to set up and program, but they worked well.
