Hi everyone,
I recently ripped everything out of my S-10 and started from scratch. For those looking for install ideas in an S-10, these pics may help. Equipent includes a TK840 UHF mobile, TK7160 VHF mobile, an Able-2 4-way switch, blue mini phantom LED, and headlight and reverse light wig-wags. The console is a Jotto Desk 9" contour series console, purchased through Jotto Desk. I had to remove the cupholder and it's bracket from the seat to accomodate the console.

All wiring is either in split-loom tubing or ran under the carpeting. Power is drawn from the fuse block with 8 gauge wire, fused at 30 amps. Antennas are a VHF quarter wave and a Lakeview high-gain dual bander for UHF. There are also provisions for a scanner, when I choose to have it in.

Rather then the looped jumpers on your distribution block, Blue Sea Systems makes a factory part for that function. Less connectors to fail that way http://bluesea.com/category/9/36/produc ... erview/193.

Thanks for the advice on the distribution block. I'll have to clear some funds and install one. That should tidy things up behind the seat as well.
