i have this charger i know it will charge the jedi and some of the XTS batt's

what i need to know is what kind of chemistry of batts will it charge

Those were made by Astec for Motorola in the late 70's. They work by sensing the tempature sensor in the battery so they tend to get batteries HOT...

If the NiMh battery is made to correct specs, this charger should charge them OK.

There are better chargers available now for less than $55........
