Aside from hex editing the RSS to alllow a forced band spread, you are stuck with teh factory default of +/- one or tw Mhz above or below the RSS allowed band splits.
This si the main reason I prefer the standard Sabers over the Systems models, as you can procure the 146-174 modules, filters and PA and take the radio from 140 all the way up past 174 Mhz if desired, and even in the 168+ range, the radio still receives like a champ, and you don't get the hammy rig intermod crap either.
Of course, this is for the VHF band, but even the UHF splits can be take well above and below the RSS listed band splits the factory sets as the 'default'.
I'd sell the Systems Saber and get a couple of standard Sabers, but you lose a lot of the features the systems models have over the standard, but at least you get a far wider frequency coverage with the standard models over the systems.
