Hello,
What is the A/B switch used for? If there are options that it can be programmed for, what are they?
Thanks

Re: ASTRO SABER A/B SWITCH??
Off the top of my head:
-Scan
-TX Inhibit
-Monitor
-Talkaround
-Blank
-Scan List Program
-Hi/Low Power
There's probably a few more, but those are the most common ones.

Don't forget zone A and zone B

Thats what I use the Batwing secure switch for ....LOL.KE4NYVJR wrote:I think I have my A/B setup for clear/secure, on my Astro Saber.
Really though the A/B switch can be programmed for:
Talkaround/Direct
TX Inhibit
Zone Select
Channel Select
Unprogrammed
Blank
Scan
PL Disable
Tx Low Power
Scan list program
Mute
Keypad Lock
Based on your posts on this you must be new to the Astro Saber Radios. I would suggest if you have the CPS/RSS explore and read the help files. If you do not and are having to have it programmed by a MSS or dealer, talk with them about it. They will let you know the way they most commonly program the switch.
Good luck and Enjoy.
