Batboard

Anyone have any idea what to check on a maxtrac that is "deaf"? I swapped logic boards in it and it still doesn't seem to be able to pick anything up. The logic board I removed from it seems to be working fine in the new radio...

No receive in a Maxtrac is most likely caused by a bad 2nd oscillator crystal on the RF board, although there are several other things that could cause it as well. Without knowing your technical ability or available test equipment it's hard to suggest a course of action, you might want to start by searching the forum though, this has been a pretty common topic in the past.
