Wanted some input as to the value of an ASIII with the following flash, 400001-000000-1. Pretty basic, it's in good condition, vhf (H04kdh9pw7an).
Thanks!

If it has a 1-Meg vocon, I wouldn't be surprised if you'd get $250-$300 for it.
If it has a 512 vocon, much, much less. You have a VSELP radio, which by itself isn't of too much use except for analog operation.

Hello. UHF AS3's with 1 meg, H38 & Imbe are going for about $220 on Ebay. This particular seller starts at $9.99 & they usually end @ $220. Hope this helps. GARY N4KVE

Can't tell if it's 1meg or 512. Here's what I know from the boot up;
AP R3.20.01
DSP I05.00.18
EMC R1.00
KG1 R1.00
KG2 None
Thanks for the responses thus far.

Smells like VSELP. If you know enough people/companies - getting that thing to DSP8.03.03 with a recent host and 1C5E FC should be *easy* - which could bring up the resale value by at least a good $75 - and ultimately be a better radio. If so, just remember to re-tune it. I use an R2670 and so do many others on here. Retuning is probably the most important step of the whole process.

Yes, the R split UHF Radios are going for this. He is trying to sell his VHF Astro Saber. I would place the value much higher as there is not a huge influx of these on the surplus market.

Eh, from what I've seen, the most a nice VHF AS3 is worth is about $550-mebey $600. Mebey a little more if it's DSP8 and isn't whored and has matching tags (aka legit)
Any more and you're asking a mint...

Which is quite a bit more than the $250 on a r split on eBay right now.
The market on UHF Astro Sabers has soimply crashed after the huge surplus was released on the eBay market. $600 would be a really good deal on a IMEB ASIII in my opinion.
