I believe the only dual band radios motorola make are usually referred to as "Phones"....
Unless you count a 700/800MHz handheld.... or a dual Spectra setup....

They should make a battery with attachments on both sides and you could just clip two radios on it...

Yep, it's late and me talketh too much.....lol...

Anyway, y'all get in the truck, we goin to the general discussion forum.

Vertex-Standard used to make a VHF/UHF HT; it may still be
in production, I'm not sure. It was/is a radio with only maybe
30 or so channels as I recall, but it worked fine and is readily
available at times on the used market. Check their site to see
if it's still being made.

I spoke with a M rep last spring and M is going to make a dual band portable, but it wont be out for about 2 years. The Yaesu/Vertex 2070 is out of production but readily available on the used fleabay market. You will need a very old DOS only computer to program them and the radio is a compromise when it comes to quality. You get two radios in one, but it is 80's technology.
