Batboard

I have a XTS2500 and a Astro Saber III. I was curious what it would take to upgrade to the latest firmware on these models. I have a legal subscription to the CPS for both radios through Motorola. Is this something I can do with the CPS and programming cable and RIB if needed? Does this require the SRIB setup and cables? What are the prices for a firmware updates? Is there anything else that should be updated over time?
