well i see the link dont work. i would like to install a remote mic to a cdm 1550. i was told to just pick up a rj45box and it could just plug into there. i got the jack and cant find anywhere to see how the wires hook up to the back of the radio.

In the RJ45 box, pins 3,4 & 5 are what you will use. Pin 3 is PTT, 4 is tx audio, 5 is ground. Match those up with the CDM1550 pins (3-PTT, 2-Tx audio, 7-ground) and you can then just plug the mic into the box & it should work. Done it a hundred times.
