I am trying to learn which is the correct RSS for the XTS3000 portables. I have been getting conflicting
information. Can someone set me straight. Some have told me that RVN4186 will work.

Second question, can the RKN4105A programming cable (USB) also be used on the XTS3000 portables?

RVN4186 is for the XTX2500 & XTS5000, it will not work on the xts3000, You need RVN4182V.

RKN4105A is for the XTS2500, it will not work on the XTS3000.
