programming a MT2000 UHF A9, on the MDC page, you get to program, the Primary ID, Secondary ID, and Variable ID.. so the Primary ID is transmitted as the identifier, and the variable ID is teh Fleet & Group ID...

But WHAT is the secondary id?

help file on the rss just says: "This is the secondary ID assigned to the radio by the host." that is super help full!
