ASTRO chargers -open load voltage

Hi
What is the normal open load voltages for the standard and rapid rate chargers for the ASTRO sabers ?

Like double the nominal battery voltage.
Measure it yourself with a DVM.
The battery load brings the voltage down
the correct range when you put the
battery in the charger.

I am doing exactly , that until I get my charger back .
Using 200 ma and adjusting it as the battery is being charged and when it drops to 50ma I leave it overnight at 20-30 ma.
Painful process but it works for now.

I really hope you're doing this to a standard NiCd or NiMH pack that you can only kill... do it to a LiIon, you may get an explosive experience.
