XTL5000 05 Control Head Wiring

I have obtained an XTL5000 high power with the 05 control head but I'm missing the wiring diagram. I have everything figured out except the control head connector - I assume the red is ignition sense but need to knkow what the yellow wire hooks to.

You need to run the red wire to a constant hot source(unswitched) and the yellow lead needs to go to a switched source of 12v dc. I dont know if the problem has been fixed but if you ran both the red and the yellow to a switched source the control head would shut off but the radio would stay powered and thus drain your battery if left sitting for a couple of days. Weird problem, but it has happened. Also if you want it to come on and off with the key you need to program it for "soft power off".
