MT2000 with "touchy" buttons

Post by libuff »

i have a MT2000 UHF a7 with one button which activates on casual touch. the green button on the top side, will activate on the radio even with the most casual touch. there is no need to depress the button, just put your finger on it, and it activates.

any suggestions?

I've had this happen before but usually the radio has other problems as well so I'm sending it out to /\/\ anyway. I'm not sure what they do to fix it. It could just be a matter of opening the case, cleaning it up, aligning the case properly, and closing it up again.

eBay at it's finest:
Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"
