Hey guys, I am looking to take a Yaesu 857-D and make it so the two antenna ports (VHF/UHF and Lowband) share 1 antenna. I cannot find a product that will allow this, however I could have sworn someone here has done this before.
Can anyone suggest a piece of equipment to make this happen, or suggestions on where to go from here?
Thanks in advance,
steve

Get a duplexer.

A cross-band coupler is typically what you would need for this. Unfortunately that may be a custom job. All the ones TX/RX Systems makes are Low/VHF on one side and UHF on the other side. You need Low on one side and VHF/UHF on the other.

I will assume you have a antenna that will cover 1.8 MHz to 470 MHz......??

I do not know what kind of antenna it is. This is for on of my newer guys. He came to me asking if I had one and I had to give him the "deer in the headlights" look as I didn't think they existed.
Thank you all for the quick and very helpful responses. As usual, you are the best of the best.
