Maxtrac / Radius Tone remote adapter info?

Hello all;

I'm looking for information on the Mota L-1548 tone adapter. At least that's what I think its model number is.
It's about half the size of a VHF/UHF Maxtrac mobile and connects between the telco's line and the sixteen pin accessory connector.
Can someone verify the model number?
Gotta spare manual?
Are they still available?

Right now I need to know what the level of the telco line signal levels (RMS or pk-pk) into the adapter for proper transmitter operation are. Need to make sure that the telco is or is not not the "we can hear the busses, but they can't hear us" problem... and then there is the hum in the office... naw, the telco's fine...
