ASIII Firmware help

Post by jban »

Anyone out there willing to help a fellow labber out. I am trying to find someone to update the firmware to the 5.2.xxx version. I have not had any luck finding a local shop that wants to handle any AS stuff.

I need to add some narrow band channels for our FD. This is a VHF model.

This is a personal radio used for my VFD.

Any help appreciated.

I will have to read it again. It is a 1 meg vocon and the host was the 2.2.xx.

From what I understand upgrading the ver will allow me to input narrowband. It is a VHF model and it does have securenet capabilities.

The latest host/dsp for a 1 meg astro saber is R7.71/8.03.03. If it truely one meg and the dsp is A or N then its certainly upgradeable.

That is a tough one then. Could end up bricking it. I would be surprised if it is really one meg with that old of host in it though.
