I have bought few days ago a HT1250, UHF from a ham convention, the thing is that I would like to program it with the European version of the CPS - that is the one I have acces to - legal version through a Moto service - is there any way the radion can be reflashed so that it will accept programing wt the european CPS? Tnks

There is a modification to later versions of cps to allow them to read multiple regions of radio, it had to do with editing the pc's registry, but I don't remember exactly what key.

No, I don't think so.

The euro waris series (GP360/GP380/etc) all use the Professional Series GP300/GM300 software. They have 256k flash ROM's, as opposed to the 128k HT1250. I have tried in the past to make a GP380 into an HT1250 with no luck, it just doesn't work.

Thank you Batwings21, I will try that and let you all guys know what came up.
NSPD thanks for your input as well, have you tried the other way around 1250 into a GP380?
