Have two D44MJA77A3CK radios. Heres the problem. When programed to decode PL, decode works ok. However, I can not disable the decode with the MON button. Programed either way, with or without PL decode, the MON button will not open up the squelch. Have I missed something in programming? Or jumpers somewhere.

You have to hold down the monitor button for about 2 seconds in order for it to go into open squelch.

If it doesn't, you may have "busy channel lockout" enabled somewhere.

Thanks much. You were correct. I had BCL set. Trying to hard the find it and kept looking over it.
