Never had a MT500, can't say...

They were great radios, I kind of miss them. My department had the 8 channel models with the mpl knob. They rocked, you know back in the 80s.

Sorry sweety, not everyone worships the 5000. Besides, I had one, used it, got rid of it


Wanna talk about old tech, well there's the saberII I use every day

The saber is a great radio, as for worshipping the 5k, just because I keep it hermetically sealed in it's impress charger, on an altar surrounded by candles that never go out and in a clean room does not mean I worship it. Now if we can get this thread back on track so I can find an antenna...
