Low wattage from a High wattage CDM-750

I have a 403-470 CDM-750 I'd like to use as a 433-435 auxiliary link. It is the 25-40W model, but only needs to transmit at about 1 watt due to the height of the antenna and such. The software appears to only let me set the wattage from 20-48 watts or so. Is there a good way I can get it to transmit at 1-5 watts?

Thanks,
Matt

Do you have access to a lower power CDM? I remember reading that they were adjustable to very low levels (can't be 100% sure though without doing a search.

I do not have a 1 to 25W model available.

Thanks,

the cdm's will unlock and get squirly on you if you take the power down too far. if you have to use that radio for now then take it down to 20 or whatever the minimum is that the cps will let you go and that will have to do until you can find a lower power radio.
