I have an AS2, when i read the radio with rss/cps, the firmware shows up as 02.21.xx and the dsp version shows N/A. When i enter the service mode for the radio, the firmware ver. is 03.20.01 and the dsp shows 04.01.00 with no letter before it... Does this mean the vocon is neither analog nor digital? I cant get the radio to take any other s-rec's from my other as2's, when i use lab to force it in, its shows up FAIL 01/92

Any ideas?

I think you got a hold of someone's hack project gone wrong, or that VOCON is seriously cheesed.

Swap it with another 512K VOCON, and drop your s-rec back in.
