Using CM200 as a link for MTR2K
I'm trying to tie in a CM 200 to use as a link on an MTR2000. I have the accessory plug kit #TKN9205. First, does Motorola offer instructions to do this (too late to call today)? If not, I have glanced at the MTR manual (such as it is) and see the pinout for the system plug. I have found a couple of places that I think I can get COR to key the CM200. Before I start poking around I thought I might ask and see if anyone here has any insight. Thanks in advance.

I don't recall the specific pin number on the MTR J5 system connector, but I believe it is labeled as "fast RX detect" in the MTR installation manual. It is active high, so I've always run it through a simple transistor switching circuit to get the active low required to key other Motorola radios. Otherwise, you need a wildcard in order to obtain an active low COR out of the MTR. I doubt Motorola has any app notes on the hook-up...they leave that sort of stuff to the field technicians.

While I also do not have the pin numbers immediately handy, since I have not done one in a while, you can also interface a link radio fairly easily using the J7 MRTI connector.

Humhead is correct.
There is a Receiver UNSQ signal on the MARTI DB25 connector along with RX Audio that is muted. This is where we make such connections for links, ect.
