04 Impala alternator upgrade?

I just picked up a 2004 Impala LS with the 3.8l V6. Before I start installing lights and radios, I'm going up upgrade some of the stock wiring. I'm also considering upgrading the stock alternator. Will a 125amp alternator from a 9C1 of the same model year bolt right up? Else, does anyone have any reputable sources for a higher-output alternator for that vehicle?

Any other hints or suggestions for the vehicle?

IIRC the stock alternator is 140 or 160A for all Wimpalas.

In case you didn't get an answer...yes, you can. The 125 Bosch alternator is a direct fit part on the 3800.

When my 9C1's alternator blew out last summer I bought a used OEM from eBay for $22 shipped. It was the lower amperage one (105amps I think?) but I haven't had any problems EVEN with my 110w Syntor X9000 with siren. I run front strobes and everything else is LED. There is a noticable dim when I key up with the radio though but its 110watts lol.
