Yeah, probably a dumb question. Anyway, Do the saber and astro saber use the same RIB to radio cable?

No. There is a one-pin-connection difference. Get it off of
Batlabs and you can put a switch on the connector to make
one cable do both radios. I modified a cable to do the AS
radios but only because I had two cables at the time.

Thanks Tom, was running out and was planning on looking for a pinout when I got home. I know I had a cable that was supposed to be for an analog saber as wel as a cabe that was for an astro, but I never used either and I have found one so far.

Just wanted to see if I should be i a rush to find the other cable

Are the pins on the radio connector the same for both? It looks like the difference is in the DB25 end, and not really something I can check by just looking at it.

As I recall I had to relocate one of the pins in the DB25 connector. I
definitely did NOT have to mess with the radio's connector. Once I
figured the thing out it took about two minutes to accomplish, which
included picking the pin out the connector and putting it in the other
connector hole.

Regards,

pins on the radio side is identical, just move pin 8 to pin 6 on the DB-25 end, or better yet, make a SPDT switch on the DB-25 shield like I did, insulate the terminals and it will work like a charm.
