ok i did a search for this and didnt answer my question
some of the comments indicate the DX loader will work with XTS3000's other posts say depends of firmware host/dsp of XTS3000
if i were to buy a DX DES loader (factory or upgraded) what specs do i need to look out for on the P25 XTS3000 to make sure it will load a key?

as long as the flavor of your encryption matches the loader, and the loader is a "D"x - you will be fine.
T3011DX will load DES-XL and/or DES-OFB
Twhatever the number is ... is for DVP-XL
there are a few AES-equipped XTS3000's out there... you will need a KVL3000+ to load AES keys...

Will the T3011DX also load code into the new XTL5000??
